..these two pictures :

1. is a swtich and cant figure out what it does, my car is a 1979 and this switch appears as a factory item in the Detomaso Book, anyone know what its functions is ?

2. The wires are gr / blk , rd / blk, wht / blk. The wiring diagrams for the early 71 -74 cars are different then my 79. On my car presently everything works so they cant be for the headlights or wipers or fans ? Any ideas ?

LOL .....The switch yes ..thats the one ... but the FOG lamps I will have to check ... I dont see any wires hanging in the rear ?

It also seems from that switch which has power to it.... there is a wire at the fuse box which is unplugged .. yellow / Blk that only gets pwoer when the switch is turned ON ... where does it get connected at the fuse box ?

Thanks ..

Ron
Ah got it .. ok after all that ... since I;m thinking of putting the car back to original .. thats a Euro Touch that I may add.

So the yellow and blk that is haging by the fuse box ... it get hot when that switch is turned on .. its looks like some one cut the factory solderless connector off... where on the fuse panel does it get landed ?

Thanks

Ron
Mark,

Yes, I started putting the car back to 100% stock form. I removed as you can see in the pics the fans override switch wiring and next I need a new door because they made holes for switches and lights and some other wiring for the amplifier someone installed prior. I also removed a make shift seat belt light and buzzer which must have been RUBE GOLDBERG'd in when it was being brought in to the USA in 1985. All this was initiated by a simple task of getting the interior lights to work ..which turns out to be the simple task on changing the bulbs ...LOL

But those other few wires are simply disconnected ..but everything work except the REAR FOG LIGHT which now I know what the switch was for ... wew ..long story short.
