Well, the dashboard is a two pod. The last US car made like that was an early '73.
From about the second half of US '73 model production the factory installed a "single pod".

So if the dashboard is original to the car it is NOT newer then '73, if it's a US car.
Who knows on a Euro car? Details like that could be ordered anyway you wanted them, I'm sure.

The steering wheel is not original to a US production car. The exception might be the US 74 GTS may have a Prototipo steering wheel which might be what I am looking at.

I sent you to Steve because he should recognize the hub cover if it is a Detomaso factory part.

If it aftermarket for the Detomaso (to me it does not look factory, but I am not an expert on them) then maybe the one in the picture is the only one?

Look in the "members directory" on this web page for Roland.

He bought much of the remaining stock that Detomaso had before it closed. Even if he doesn't have it he may be able to at least identify it.

Hi.

Again, finally no one have seen such a center before !

Steve Wilkinson have something very similar, " a little different" he says.. i wait pics !
Roland in Germany have never seen such a center before... He have the standart one to prupose.

If anybody knows more about it ! Wink

i will apreciate it.
I think yours was made as a one of a kind.

If you have to have one exactly like it you will have to have it made for you.

If you are open to sugestions I would recommend considering Wilkinson's "quick release hub".

It is made from stainless steel billet. The steering wheel side (that you see) is black anonodized and he had a DT Isis logo engraved in the center.

I know that he has one for the Momo wheels. That is what I have. I don't know about the other wheels.

I have one and am ecstatic about it. It is better then the factory part. It is like a work of art.

There are photos of it on this web site if you do a search for steering wheel hubs.

I will tell you that the pictures do not do it justice. It is better, much better in person thenthe photos can capture.

I was a little skeptical at first but everyone who has it highly recommended it and loved thiers.
The name of the thread is "Momo Steering Wheel Adaptor". It was posted on 1/26/07 by me, PanteraDoug.

The wheel shown is a Momo "race" and has Wilkinson's Quick Release hub.

The logo is "engraved", not printed on it.

There is also a second thread titled "Quick Release Steering Wheel Hub" posted by Shotgungrooms, 1/20/07.

I was just minding my own business until I saw these wheels and hubs. Then I had to have one.

I blame these guys but I don't regret it. As it turns out they all have exceptional taste. Thanks to all for showing me the light.
