My brother and I just purchased a Pantera and wanted to intro ourselves; we found the all original car in an Amish barn in northern Indiana; 44,000 original miles; had not been started in over four years; excellant condition; we put new tires and battery in it, prepped the cylinders, fired it up and drove it 1000 miles (14 hours) to Tampa where I live. My name is Mike Sankey and I would like to commo with other owners, especially anyone in my area or in Phoenix where my brother lives. My email is sankey427@yahoo.com

Thanks Tom and Husker for the welcome aboard emails. I am very surprised to learn about PIM and how much owner interest there is in the Pantera. I plan to freshen the car by changing all the hoses, tune-up etc and then drive it at least several times a week. Life is too short and unpredictable not to enjoy the car! I'm certainly not going to save using it so that the next owner can have better use. I know mileage lowers the price but I bought it to enjoy and not as investment. On my trip down to Tampa, when I hit 135mph I found the car was very stable and well behaved even though front end lifted and was too light. I think 150 would require a chin spoiler. Oh, I did not know about Pantera East but I'll check it out. thanks again, Mike
