That's gotta be a 'win win' for us Pantera guys from all angles and it had to happen sooner or later.

1. It puts a viable option on the table which should help keep ZF rebuild and replacement costs in check.
2. CV joints and it should be much more user friendly to change gear ratios for track events etc.
3. If all the GT40 boys go for it then we get Lloyd back to servicing Pantera guys on the ZF.

Uh, well with the new ZF 6-speed at $15,
995 and other Q-type transmissions at 20K not to mention 8K ZF rebuilds and $2,500 for a taller fifth gear, plus the few extra grand for the CV conversion, $11,800 seems realistic for what it has to offer. True, you can spend much less freshening up a ZF, this type of transmission upgrade is for the kind of guy that prefers flying first class rather than coach.
