New style console panel

I like it. I would leave room for a double din radio so I could use a back up camera and maybe smaller switches but overall I think its a tasteful, modern upgrade.

If the heater controls are mounted at the bottom of the console, are the cables long enough to get it there without changing them

Who's design is this console It doesn't show on Wilkinsons sight, just Precision Proformance.

I like the angled gauges which I presume is molded, otherwise I'd just make my own panel from 'luminum.

David's interior is my favorite.

I agree, the center console for David's car looks great. Was this a custom? Or does one of the Pantera vendors supply it. I would be interested in knowing. Mine is an old Hall setup that has seen better days.

IIRC he designed and made it himself. And documented it on this BB I believe.

It's a very nice solution, but what happens to the heater/ac control. Where did he put that.

Here is mine in the link, carved from a whole 20" tree trunk of burlwood. Just kidding, although the prior owner did have it custom made. Personally I like the looks of the one Wilkinson was selling in carbon fiber. Probably still has them. Also saw a nice set up on a recent ebay group 4/5 car...I will see if I can post that too.

This console actually looks like the one that I posted at the top of this thread, with the addition of the burlwood.

Just think about how many trees had to die for that panel?

Almost as bad as the slaughtering of the Naugas for upholstery materials in the '60s?

If I can find the gauge panel that is molded in one piece to tilt the gauges like this, I will make my own panel.

I don't find any with Google searches. Everything is flat...and yes I know about the Auto Meter tilt bases for the gauges.

I want the gauges inset like this picture has and not projecting out like the tubes would cause.

Anyone here know a source of those recessed tilt gauge panels?

I am working on ideas right now. It has even changed since these photos a little. I am looking at hydrographics and laminants for the overlays but have not found anythgin to my liking yet:






The right side is a piece we laser cut and I was testing the hydrographics:

I have a guy that can laser cut these for me but he needs a copy of it in CAD.

Anyone have that to lend out
