IT MAY SOUND DUMB, BUT DID YOU REMEMBER TO RECONNECT THE BATTERY?? IF SO, THEN LOOK FOR: 2. DISCONNECTED RED WIRE AT THE STARTER SOLINOID, OR RED WIRE ON THE RIGHT (SMALL) PIN(WRONG), INSTEAD OF THE LEFT (SMALL)PIN (CORRECT).3.POWER TO IGNITION SWITCH IS DISCONNECTED (THERE IS NO FUSE, IT'S WIRED DIRECTLY TO THE AMP GAUGE. WHICH BRINGS US TO: 4. POWER TO THE AMP. GAUGE (IT'S THE SMALLER GAGE RED WIRE COMING OFF THE +POSITIVE SIDE OF YOUR BATTERY. AND LAST AND HOPEFULY NOT: 5. BURNED OUT CONTACTS WITHIN THE IGNITION SWITCH ITSELF, IF 12 VOLTS IS GETTING THERE AND NOT COMING OUT THE OTHER TERMINALS, THATS A BAD SIGN THAT CONTACTS ARE GONE. 6. THE LARGE CABLES: ONE GOING TO THE SOLINOID FROM THE BATTERY, SHOULD BE MOUNTED ON THE DRIVERS (LEFT) SIDE STUD, AS YOU FACE FORWARD FROM THE REAR OF THE CAR. 7. THE OTHER LARGE GAGE CABLE GOES FROM RIGHT SIDE STUD TO THE STARTER MOTOR ITSELF. ALL OF THIS IS WHAT I WOULD CHECK, STARTING OFF. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A MUTIMETER/VOLT/OHM , YOU CAN JUST USE AN OLD 12V LIGHT BULB WITH TWO ALIGATOR CLIPS WIRED INTO IT. GOOD-LUCK, MARLIN. P.S. DOES YOUR AMP. GAUGE MOVE AT ALL WHEN YOU TURN ON THE KEY, IF NOT, SOME TIMES THOSE CAN BURN OUT TOO. BUT YOU WOULD KNOW THAT, SEEING ALL THE SMOKE, AND POSSIBLY A FIRE!!
