I just became the State of Hawaii distributor for the No Rosion line of automotive coolant and oil products. I was initially looking to purchase this product and lucked into the Hawaii distributorship. I thought this line of products may be beneficial to Pantera owners.
No Rosion is a corrosion inhibiting enhancer/replacement for antifreeze. It has the anti corrosion properties of anti freeze but none of the abrasive silicates which errode aluminum and rubber parts. It can also be used as a replacement for Dex Cool (extended life antifreeze) which is used in new GM and Chrysler vehicles. While Dex Cool does not have the destructive silicates as antifreeze, it is easily contaminated and turns to when tainted. (There are current class action law suits pending against Dex Cool for engine damage)
Hypercool, a product of No Rosion has the anti corrosives plus a water wetting additive already added in. Perfect for the Pantera.
This product is currently being tested by Fluidyne and may become a part of their corrosion warranty. I read in the recent issue of the POCA newsletter that a bottle was being included with their radiators although this has not been confirmed. I've been told that Applied Chemical, the parent company of No Rosion also manufactures "Purple Ice" water wetter for Royal Purple. It has also been featured and recommended by several automotive publications.
