Number of Panteras Registered in the US?

If I remember right I think there are about 900 or so members of POCA. I was talking to Gary Hall a few months ago and I think he estimated the number between 200 to 2500 or so. That sounds about right to me if only about 7000 were ever manufactured. Vince

Thanks...That was about the estimate I thought.

Bear in mind POCA or PI membership numbers, as well as registration numbers (if one could learn what they even are) will not serve to determine how many CARS are still out there. Within 30 miles of me - central valley, farmland CA - I know of at least five Panteras that would not show up on any POCA, PI or state registration list. There must be HUNDREDS of these cars dying and rotting in garages all across the USA. Sad but true.

That's a good point. I've seen at least 5 Panteras around my house and I know none of them are listed on the club roster or on our local message board. Isn't there around 1300 members signed up on this BB? Vince

And some of us own more than one (or two) cars.

# of cars "registered", # of cars still driven
(track or street), # of cars that are still complete?
