Hello all. A possible 'wishful thinking' request for what I am looking for (I do not want to cut up a complete car), I am looking for a middle body section of a Pantera that would be suitable for a race car project. It only needs to be the windscreen opening and door opening sections. The plans are for a 'GP5' style build, and to use a tube chassis and composite panels (other than the roof skin). The plans are to make the car as close to original 'GP5' specifications as is possible (KINSLER mechanical injection). There was a tube frame car built in the UK some years back, but I am not sure how 'race worthy' that chassis was (no disrespect meant to the builder). Any info on a possible chassis builder, or plans would be also appreciated. Thanks.

I know someone that has a car that was hit in the front. Have no idea how much he wants for it. Look at my previous post on for sale cars here. He had 4 and sold the driver.
Here is the posting described above:
Thanks all for your input - very much appreciated - HA - hopefully when we finally get a start on it - nobody will get bored if we post the build process up. CHEERS
Call Larry Stock at Pantera Parts Connection, Carson City NV, he has a couple bodies, one that was a twin turbo and spun damaging both ends!
Sharkey at Pantera Miami would be worth a call too, he often has project cars.
Thanks Joules.
If you're only looking for a "middle body section" suitable for a tube frame race car project, why not make a fiberglass mold of that section of a Pantera for your race car? Or better yet, order one from Larry Stock! I believe he has a complete set of molds to create a complete fiberglass or kevlar Pantera body (or any part of the body you need).
And as already pointed out, he also has several shells in his shop that have been cut up to save other cars, but still have the center-section (cabin) intact I believe.
Thanks Garth, I have emailed Larry and waiting on a response. CHEERS
One of my initial 'passion' in cars was 911/930 (not forgotten) - but the PANTERA mob I am always grateful for the 'passion' everyone holds - not just 'fashion' - but a true interest. CHEERS BIG EARS. HA - look that up. And thanks everyone for the advice.
