Here is a departure from nuts and bolts in a manner of speaking. A friend sent me this photo from a page out of a Playboy magazine. He's traveling, so I haven't been able to follow it up. Can you check your magazine collections and find the issue it was found in?

Here's a better image of the ad I found somewhere online years ago, but no idea what issue it's from. Almost looks like a '71 pushbutton Pantera.

That's PCNC's own Ron Southern, former Bondurant driving instructor, back in the day. He's on this forum too.

Gotta love the "Mark Spitz" mustache, bellbottom jeans, and his hairstyle looks like he's sporting a "Natural" (essentially a white man's afro - the most unnatural thing imaginable, but popular for a thankfully short period of time in the 70's). rollonfloor

Back in the day...

I did read Playboy...who didn't ?

I was a smoker. (note the Marlboro box in my pocket)

I did purchase my yellow Pantera in 1976 while at Sears Point.

I even have a connection with that 260 Z racer in that ad's background:
