Your post reminded me of a Delahaye I saw at Pebble Sunday. The rows of louvers on the hood, four of them, tapered ever so slightly. Must have been 40-50 of them, each just a tad longer than the previous one.

Amazing what tools, time and a skilled fabricator can do - as you have well demonstrated over the years.

Larry those louvers being different lengths are stunning.
JFB the second photo is a press brake. The pieces in the back with the screws are the guides which is cnc controlled which means I can set the depth for each bend. The blue blocks are the dies.
