Has someone seen the yellow project car offered for $35000 in real?
What do you think about the car as long as a friend of mine is seriously looking for a car since I have mine. ;-)

We know this is kind of a project car but he has a garage and is doing the job for decades so I had the idea this might be the right car for him.

Their is something wrong with that front end, the damage to the driver side area where the bumper is has been fixed as the primer indicates. The missing headlight buckets, were removed to get at the damage in the front I would bet, the damage continues on the lower drivers side lower rocker and door, If I were forced to guess, it looks like this car hit something and ran over it and it was a large object like a motorcycle. That is not a steering wheel from 1973, nor are the spark plug wires, I think it was worked on in say 2001, The front suspension is not right and maybe damaged to the extreme. If you go to see
this car, take someone with you who knows the Pantera upside-down and backwards, cause it looks real suspicious to me ( Porsche grave yard ? ). Also It is important to note that the speedometer cable is easily remover from the transmission and was routinely done on many cars to avoid running out of warrantee ( note the new yellow masking tape next to engine? ), so that mileage is also questionable.

Adding my 2 cents: If this vehicle has been sitting since '73 and not seen the light of day, a COMPLETE tear down and rework is in order. A number of articles exist in this forum of engines, transaxles, cooling systems, and brakes (to name a few) that had to be rebuilt from sitting too long. Just seeing some of the missing components suggests that one may be searching for some time or spending some extra money just to bring it up to spec.
Take it from one going through it - Owned mine since 1981 and let it sit far too long, completely disassembled, then started complete restoration. Unless its a "Labor of Love", shell out a little extra, and enjoy the ride home.
check out the post from lastpushbutton, nice car, that's the way to go.

The one from lastpushbutton was recently sold by The Mustang Ranch in Colorado on ebay, so I question the 2 owner history, unless a dealer bought it and is not counting himself. It also shows the SAME exact miles as from the Mustang Ranch ad!.A good description can be found on the Registry. Originally a New York car, then Colorado, now South Carolina! Thanks to Chuck for making the history easier to find!
Analysis is correct of you all, thanx.
I have seen the paint sprayd to the lift and the wrong dash and it is clear that the checkered history is kind of questionable.

This would not have stopped me but the idea of an accident that causes the funny high nose makes me forget about it. $35k is deffo not the sales price of this its more like 15k.

White car looks good will have to ask for additional funds.

Thank you forum
