I've recently experienced some issues myself as I am trying to make some rather large additions. I don't know what causes the ISP to respond with "service unavailable".
Usually it is back online within 10 minutes or so.
I currently have 1and1 as the site provider, and I am entertaining the idea of hosting my site elsewhere. The site is larger than most business and hobby sites, and perhaps I have outgrown the service.
I need the ability to run ASP, one or more databases (currently under "access"), and store several gig of material. So if you have suggestions, contact me directly.
