Peter,
I will look into the vadar lights. My preverence is to go HID.
Any one out there have HID, or using vadar lights?
Thanks,
Daniel

Does anyone know the website for vader? I followed a dozen links and all come back not found. inc. pantera parts source pages and links.
Thanks, Daniel

Thanks for the information, Mark. I suggested Ted Mitchell simply because I was happy with the power window kit I bought from him, but I had not actually seen his headlight conversion kit.

Daniel: I am running a custom dual HID set-up that was created by Larry Wu. http://pantera.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3350045562...670012163#5670012163

I have referred people to Larry a number of times in the past couple of years, but they all tell me he does not return e-mails or calls. My personal experience with Larry is that he is a true HID technical enthusiast and was able to create, from carefully chosen quality components, a custom setup with the extra powerful high-beams that I needed. Mind you, it took half a year for him to do the job. Larry's work is good but, unfortunately, he seems to have other priorities. If you get your system from Kirk, it will be a proven, quality product delivered in a timely fashion.

I recommend them without reservation. They are a very nice improvement to the functionality & asthetics of the car. No issues at all.

The headlight relay conversion is highly recommended to accompany this upgrade.

Daniel,

Kirks' Quads use the Hella 90mm units, which are also available as HID units. Talk to Kirk and he could probably supply them in HID (high, low or both), but be prepared for a signifcant cost increase, the HID Hellas run $500 each unit alone. You can easily convert the halogen ones to HID with a couple of the $200 type kits available on ebay etc.

Johhny Woods fabrictaed his own version using the same Hella units that he has converted to HID high and low beam.

PanteraDoug:

In addition to his rectangular halogen kit, Ted Mitchell also offers a dual headlight kit which, if I recall correctly, uses halogen projectors but with the option of upgrading to HID. For some reason the URL I have for his web site no longer works, so to check this one would need to give him a call.
