So I saw a GT5S in person not too long ago, and noted that the rocker panel seams/gaps had been filled in on both the Front fender to rocker panel and the quater panel to rocker panel.
Did they come from the factory like that? I know this was a Kirk Evans car so maybe its a mod he does.
Whats the consensus on welding that seam? Is there any major benefit or more of a cosmetic mod? Just asking since I am in the procees of putting new rocker panels on both sides due to rust, and now would be the time to weld the seam.
Not sure I like the filled seam look, just looking to explore the option.
