Anybody have advice on finding replacements for the reducer bushings that fit on the heim joints of the front suspension upper control arms ? I'm missing a pair...Thanks--Lee

Unless someone has an extra pair, not worth the effort of hunting those down, ask your machinist to make 4 new ones.

They look like simple pieces of tubing which is easily and quickly made by a machinist. If you are assembling a car you may find the need for one more than once along the way. It appears that their only function is to center the joints.
See if you can find a local small shop to work with that will be economical.
I have found a local machinist that has been a great help, like when I broke a tap in the hole that attaches the shift linkage to the main shifter shaft on the ZF. He came over with a small hardened punch and carefully broke it out in pieces. I was greatly releived and amazed.

They are also available in various shapes from Heims type ball joint suppliers that can be found in catalogs by JEGGS, SPEEDWAY, etc. Some have racecar building catalogues.

Thanks, guys, at least I've found the name for these is "shoulder bushings," there are some common sizes used for shocks (available from Pegasus racing, for example)...I guess its time to find a machinist
