My Pantera has become more difficult to shift into reverse and first when hot. 2nd and 3rd are also difficult to a lesser extent. It is smooth as butter when cold and also fine when driving regardless of temp. Only happens when hot and driving at low speeds such as parking. Sometimes I just swithch off the motor when I need reverse, engage and start up, and this occasionally results in difficulty getting the lever back out of reverse. Oil is new and changed twice yearly, Castrol Hypoy LS90 as specified in owners manual, cluthch release clearance is fine, noticed however shift lever doesnt always self centre from the reverse/1st side of the gate, any help much appreciated.

It does sound like a clutch disenguagment problem to me. I would put a couple of turns on the adjuster at the slave cyl to make it longer, thus getting more disenguagement. even if it does not help, the pedal will get firmer sooner. Bleed your slave also to make sure there is no trapped air. When you say you turn it off to get to reverse tells me the input shaft is turning while you select reverse. Try pumping the crap out of the clutch pedal next time to see if that will give you the clearence you need. If it is in the ZF, you got real problems. One more thing, check that the trunion bushing is well lubed.
