Thinking ahead to the impending GT4 conversion, the steel flares will partially cover the existing side marker lights. So I'd like to know what other convertees have done for side markers or some general thinking/opinions wrt side markers.
As I see it the options are;
1. Shift the existing marker lights further forward up front or rearward at the back to retain a semi-stock look.
2. Weld up the holes and do away with side markers altogether.
3. Weld up the holes but use those small little round (button type) side marker lights
4. Reconfigure the holes and find an alternative rectangular side marker
My current thinking is toward option 4. but if I do that I'd like to find something that will sit back to have the lens fit flush with the panel for a more modern look once fitted. Any ideas?
