Spark Plug Gap? For 74' 351 C?

Hey guys, just wondering what is the factory or stock spark plug gap setting for a 1974 pantera with a 351 c engine? And what do you think I can open it up too with those new Irdium plugs from Denso?

Spark-Plug Gap '73 (last year they made your engine), 351C .044" for 'Points' type Ignition(single or dual). and .054" for Electronic Ignitions.

I recently discovered major performance enhancement by going to a wider gap. I'm using an MSD setup. I went from .45 to .51 and had a quite noticeable difference in acceleration. It depends on what compression you are running on that deal (the more compression, the smaller the gap). Be sure to read the MSD recommendations if you go this route.
