What spark plugs are you guys running?I was running Autolite #24s but switched to NGK TR-4s tonight.I haven't driven it yet(rain)but I was curious what everyone else was running. Thanks
Autolite 24s and have had very good luck in the limited miles I have driven the P car. How often are you normally changing plugs, and what made to switch to the NGKs. Thanks, Lar 3663
I have 180 headers and "high-port" heads.I changed valve springs this week and since I had the plugs out ,and it is a nightmare to change them,I put in a new set.I had no problems with the Autolites.I used to race a Mustang with NOS and NGK was the best plug that I ever used.I also run them in my '01 Lightning with great results.I took it for a drive today and it runs better than ever(except for a oil leak)

What part number for the TR-4s? Also what plug gap?
Like oil and beer brands, sparkplug brands are a predjudice learned at Dad's knee. The only almost-universal truth in plugs is, platinum-tip plugs (Lodge et al) are good only as missles to throw at gophers in the back yard. The latest instance gave the owner 200 miles befor being removed & pitched. Split-fire & other patented type tricky-tip plugs are the same- save your money for something else IMHO.
