Thanks guys. Was just testing out my new camera with an impromptu video of my car. I'll make another one on a nicer day with better angles and a cleaner view of the interior. Phase2 was a 1 1/2 year project, which consisted of building the motor, smoothing, painting, and detailing the engine bay, making all the carbon fiber for the interior and engine bay, removing the undercoating from the wheelwells and cleaning/painting the suspension parts, fabbing the exhaust, etc. And yes, the fuel tank is in the front, which allows for the custom headers. I'll get better pics of those, or dig up some "in proccess" pics. BTW, the CHI heads are great. 11.5:1 compression and runs great on pump gas.
Speedzone, finally I saw someone besides myself having the oil line from the block above the oil filter to the oil gauge hole in the back. I've had it for some time on my Pantera, w/o any problems. However I had it on my Longchamp as well, and when a lifter collapsed, I thought, well maybe this isn't such a good idea, it does remove some oil pressure from the valvetrain, right?

Any views?

Right now I'm in the take-no-chances mood, I've removed it on both cars...

I have had the external oil line on my Pantera for about 20 years now. I have put over 50k miles on that engine and have never had a problem. Can't say for sure if the oil line helped or not.
