Yes ! - Well spotted Ron.
It is a GT40 chassis. We are using the same chassis as the 30x odd GT40's chassis's already built. These cars have proved to be of such good design we didnt change anything other than the wheelbase and body mounts for our Pantera Replica. ( I have just got back from a film shoot down in Cape Town with 2x GT 40's 'dicing' each other along a magnificent winding sea-lined road. We used a two-stage jet turbine minature remote-controlled helicopter for a fast ( +-180klms.hr.) 3 axis camera platform to film from, - got footage that Ive never been to achieve before, shooting car commercials over the years out of conventional (read: expensive ) choppers....this little baby flys with the cars, over the cars, thru and around telegraph poles, down tunnels etc. - giving us footage unseen before. The one GT40 driver complained about getting "a hot ear full" from the jet exhaust blast of the tiny chopper flying next to him....we had the side window off because of the hot day...) Fun & games......cheers 'HawkEye.'

Ron. Tai here. The Gt40 "Car Chase" footage is part of a 3min music video,- we had the Press Preview last nite in fact,- which would proberly be to long to run on this forum. I will try re- edite it and 'cut out' the car stuff and post that... bear with me, it might take a while. The footage is absolutely fabulous... we go into production of the 'real' movie,- the feature film for release world-wide next month...the movie is all about kids involved with extreme sports and street racing etc set in & around Cape Town.....( we will be using these Jet turbine, remote choppers thru out the filming to get us the shots I want....)
Later.
Ron & All
The Ford Gt40 "Chase footage" straight from the music video will be up and available to see/hear on our new MotorHead website "Wheelnuts" coming soonest - Plus we will also have +- 8.00mins of "The Making Of" the music-video plus other very interesting footage.....

Also a short clip of my engine builder tuning the 4x Webers on my Cat with nice sound of the Hall 180 degree system with the mufflers coming out the sides......which I ve not seen or heardyet ( sounds different.....) yet on any of the cars. I believe this is how the factory GRP4's did it ?
