Regarding the cooling system. On my 73, #5595, I have a Pressure tank, the overflo tank, and then behind that, I have another tank. Which is very hard to see. I have looked in the illustrations from PPC, and P.I.M. and none of them show a 3rd tank,(canister) as I call it. Larger than the others, all black. I am sure one of you CAT people will have the answer. Regards, and I wish you all a Happy Hoiday. Karl

Sounds like your evaporation canister. I think that is what it is called. It is used for emissions and what not. It probably passed its useful days years ago.
