You guys (and gals) are the best. After a long absence, 3075 is back on the road. Over a year ago, my radiator was damaged (previous owner had wired fans around the tubes). I decided that I was going to upgrade to the PIM fluidyne, fans, sensors, etc. I figured the whole deal would come in around a thousand bucks. Well, the new mortgage, the 1969 Chrysler 300 convert, the wanna-upgrade-my-motorcycle fund, the "occasionally" employed wife all conspired to prolong the repair. With the iminent arrival of my second son (he was born a week ago; mom and lad are doing great)I figured it's now or never. Now that I have the new and improved version back on the streets, I can't remember why it wasn't higher on the priority list. It was great to see Chris P and Bob K's panteras at the first annual Kirkland classic car show. Hopefully Richard O and Gary H will make the Seattle concours.
This post is getting longer than I originally meant, so I'll finish by just thanking this website and the entire pantera community for mitigating some of the frustration that comes with these cars. Just remember (I now remember) how cool it is to roar down the street on a "hot summer night".
