Thanks, but not YET.

1) Right rear hub bearing
2) Need to make sure I have the brakes sorted - not sure if the NEW M/C is okay
3) Not seeing any movement on the water temp gauge
4) Have not assured myself the new clutch M/C, slave, and effort reduction kit are done properly
5) A few other niggly items.
Back on the ground. CLUTCH WORKS PROPERLY !!!!! Have to reset the choke to fully release once warmed up. Have not let the enigine get hot enough for the fans to come on, but I will get that done and hope they work !! Leak checks, re-bleed to brakes and leak check that system, and if all goes well --- DRIVE IT a bit. Once the owner smiles, back on jack stands to remove the r.r. hub to ship out for new bearings. The l.r. feels solid. Almost done.
DROVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot what non-power rack and pinion steering feels like. Still have a bit of a laundry list, but it DOES "drive". Fans have not come on yet, but the coolant temp at the tank may not be the temps at the radiator. We'll see.. Probably (actually MUST) need to put a timing light on the engine to see what the distributor is doing. Choke needs to be re-set, and most likely need to turn the screws in the front of the car. BUT --- the engine doesn't smoke !!! Amazing after setting up for 22 years.

That will be the owner's decision. Can't wait to see the shipping cost !!!

Sure can feel the lack of caster, even at 30 mph. Still have a weeping problem at a front banjo fitting at the caliper. Need to tune on the carb a bit. No apparent coolant leaks after replacing everything, not smoking, right side window is inop, need to reinstall the power antenna switch, and so on.

The owner wanted it burning gas before the summer, and he will be able to do that soon.

Apparently Italians have either short legs or long arms, and very narrow feet. And I thought the Viper was a bit odd in fit. Big Grin
