Hi All.
It seems likely this setup has been modified at some point and we are looking for some clarity as to how the throttle cable setup should look. The carb in the picture (Edelbrock) is on the car now, but is being swapped back to a stock 4300/D for orginalities sake.
The return spring at the pedal can't be doing anything, the spring separates from the sheath as the pedal is worked. I think the only thing returning the pedal now is the little spring at the carb.
Is the cable in backward, or could this have been the OE setup? It's a pushbutton car, and several small details have been different along the way
