Unbolt the trans with the bellhousing attached (there are 2 inaccessible bolts inside the bellhousing) and undo the trans mount arms or fastening bolts. The trans weighs only 155 lbs and will be slippery but 2 husky guys can pick it out of there. Don't forget the e-brake cables underneath. Most of the wt is biased in the rear and there are really no lifting points so you'll have to try the straps at various points. Some guys bend the trans mount ears on the frame down; I think thats terrible and always slide the trans back a few inches out of the clutch splines, then lift it straight up (after supporting the engine).
