V12 351 Cleveland, "how to" magazine article

Hi,

I have a mustang magazine I kept years ago on a guy starting a project on how to build a V12 351 Clevland block and have no idea if he finished the project.

His plan was to get two 351 cleveland blocks and cut one of the blocks in half so you have a four cylinder block. He then mentioned that you must weld the uncut 351 Cleveland V8 block to the cut 351 Cleveland V4 block. The welding must be done carefully and accurately. Because of this customized V12 351 Cleveland block you must also customized the length of your Cast Steel 351 Cleveland Stroker Crank and heads.

I have the magazine laying around somewhere in my office. If any one is interested in this article let me know. I will even try to scan the article on the forum.

It would never fit in a Pantera. And even if it did it would weigh too much. You guys talking all this horsepower are gonna get yourselves killed. Stay below the 600 horsepower level and you might survive. This quest for a 1500 horsepower, 1500 pound Pantera is pure craziness I tell you. STop before it is too late. You will shoot your eye out I tell you.

I think the Ford 12 was 2 Duratec 3.0 V-6's put together. I think it eventually morphed into the 12 in the Aston Martin. Can anyone confirm that? I also think that 3.0 is the same 6 that Roush builds in a twin turbo configuration for the Noble. At my age I forget a lot though. It would be very cool if someone could get the Ford 12 into a Pantera but I don't know how long it is. I've seen a Jag 12 in a Spitfire. That was cool.
