bdud, I had mine repaired at North Hollywood Speedo as well. They replaced the old workings with quartz VDO workings and it now operates beautifully. The total cost was about $300 but it was worth it to me, because real GTS analog clocks are very rare.

The replacement "GTS" clocks that Ford and Pantera vendors sold were not the same as OEM GTS clocks. The gauge face was a bit different as was the bezel. I've attached a photo of both clocks below. The OEM GTS clock is on the right. That being said, most people would never notice the difference.

If you have one of the non-OEM clocks, like the one on the left, and you're picky, you might be able to swap bezels with an OE Pantera gauge.

As far as the clock that's for sale on eBay is concerned (that was mentioned earlier in this thread), they don't come up for sale very often, so don't hesitate to go after it, if you want one. As far as value is concerned, I'm not sure what a used one is worth but I sold an NOS one on eBay, not too long ago, for $350. That NOS one was very noisy and didn't work too well because the grease in the workings had dried-up. Accordingly, I had North Hollywood Speedo clean and lubricate it ($75) before I put it up for sale.
