Honken, I have a spare handle assembly from a '72 which is identical to yours, but no boot. This would at least fill the void in your car and get you thru the test, I think. The boot and switch are std parts for any Pantera- Roland Jaeckel likely has them close to you in Germany. But 9000-series (80-up) Panteras used a different style caliper and the e-brake handle was on the drivers side of the console, which may point to a different handle ass'y. So be careful of used parts from the newer cars.

Not if it's anything like the UK MOT test where they put the car on a rolling road to test the braking efficiency and any runout. That includes bringing the driven rollers to a stop by applying the handbrake! With a handle though you should be able to rig up a functional cable to get you through the inspection.

#9178 is the same as early Pantera's the earliest GT5 I have with the drivers side e-brake handle is 9290, not to say that is the earliest, just the earliest where I have a photo of the interior. I do have a handle from a late car and it appears the same as the early one, but I don't want to let it go as I'm missing an e-brake too.
