If you do a search on this BB you'll discover this is a widely debated topic. I think Bosswrench's advice is best. Call the cam manufacturer's and ask them. Have all your engine data availabe: flow bench data, compression ratio, etc.

I absolutely agree you should talk to a cam grinder that "knows" the 351C. The 351C is unique among american V8s. My best recommendation at this time is Mark McKeown, of MME Racing.

The best cam for you may not be what is best for anybody else, it depends upon the state of your engine, your goals etc.

Custom ground cams are ALWAYS better than off the shelf units, you'll thank yourself for doing so.
