Almost any of the regular vendors can do this, Evan. But the closest to you is Larry Stock in Carson City NV (wwwpanteraparts, com), or Dennis Quella in Colorado Springs, CO (www.panteraperformance.com). Lloyd Butfoy of RBT Transmissions (www.rbttrans.com)in Southern CA is the factory overhaul facility and has all parts & gaskets. Other vendors buy Lloyd's parts.

The ZF weighs 155 lbs without a bellhousing, so shipping is not simple. You'll need a STRONG wooden crate to bolt the thing into and a friend or two to even get it to the shipper. For insurance purposes, use $10,000 as the value. Shippers have busted crates and lost stuff before....
Evan,

This is how I shipped my ZF to Lloyd at RBT. It survived the almost 6,000 mile round trip quite nicely.

I was rather shocked to find that getting proper insurance coverage through ANY shipper is almost impossible, regardless of what they tell you (and charge you). If you doubt me, ask them to provide proof of coverage and you will likely experience true silence. I was mostly worried about a total loss and in the end just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. It all worked out fine though.

That looks great. So that type seems to have the same structural members that "Detonator's" car has, with the angled extension rods.

Are the sideplates steel on the Mangusta transaxles? Are you painting them? Mine seemed to be, when I got my tranny blasted.....

Your Clutch release arm is a real work of art compared with the Pantera version....

They sure do look nice cleaned up....

Rocky,

I'm not sure which bits of the case are different, but the Goose box does differ from a Pantera unit in a few ways. The side plates being aluminum is one of them. And, yes, bead-blasting makes them look great. I am considering clear-coating it for protection. Yours looks fantastic. Did you coat it? I wish MY engine (any of them) looked like yours.
