A very worthwhile modification... but there is the problem of it being a large amount of work during which the car is not driveable. And for me, my attention span is about 3 months; after that working on one aspect of the car ceases to be 'fun' and becomes a 'chore'. I'm still wondering about a gorgeous '74 once owned by a Lockheed engineer I knew, who became so disgusted with Joe Lucas' miserable unplated electrical contacts, he started in to convert his Pantera to all Mil-spec connectors & wires. 10 years later, his once-operational car was sold as a non-running project.....
I have my 1973 harness completely removed from the car in lets say basically one piece. If anyone knows anyone who with duplicate it with the upgrades in the fuse box and relays etc. I would be willing to use my harness as a donor for the rest of us .... I;m all thumbs when it comes to wiring ..so any help with what needs to be upgraded and what needs to be corrected ..I;m all ears.

Ron
As good as the PLT-1 may be, it is still a generic kit. Jon Haas has spent an incredible amount of time enginering electrical (and mechanical) fixes for Panteras. He eliminates the weak links and provides true STEALTH solutions. I have a headlight controller that took only a couple of hours to install and performs flawlessly. I will be buying his fuse block assembly this winter and will report on the installation. Great job Jon!
