I posted my frustration recently in having picked up a roofing nail in my BFG 305/50-15" tire that is made out of "unobtanium":

Today I had the Toyo Proxes 4 and ST's installed on #5606 as a replacement for my BFG 225/50-15" and 305/50-15" tires.

It is a shame that Cat owners are finding it impossible to find decent replacement tires for their factory spec 15" wheels.

There must be a Cat owner out there with some clout who can convince one of tire manufacturers to make a run of 15" ties.

So how do the the Toyo tires compare to the BF Goodrich tires?

The Toyo's are a lot prettier, but I have no idea how the performance compares as I drive like an old lady even though I am a middle aged man.

Michelin is making the original sizes and speed rating tires. It's the XWX series, and they are expensive. Almost $500 each!!
