I have just changed my oil with 75-90 synthetic and now seems to have leaks after thrashing my pantera around last weekend. not to hard though. where should I check to possibly tighten the gaskets or any oher sugestions you may have. I did seem to have very slight seepage but not much before I changed the fluid. By the way shifts very smoothly and feels much better than before. thanks....Bob

I went with 80/90 API/GL5 Plus, Limited Slip (not synthetic) for my Pantera. But I have a Maserati Biturbo also, and my mechanic said alot of guys were putting redline synthetic fluid in their trans, which makes the shifting much smoother, but tends to leak more. From my experience in doing this on my Maserati, both of his comments were very true. I am now back to the regular stuff, just because I don't like the constant leaking on the driveway...but shifting is sure enough stiffer again.
