Got the car off the jack stands yesterday. The car is moving under it's own power again. First time in a looooong time. Still a long long way to go but very motivating:
Great color to, I am also into the progress from a Pantera restauration , but not yet make choise about the body color. I have black/ red and a black/ white interior. Panels and dash and seats , a choice out 2 different interior color''s The most diffecult work have you already done. Simon
I have a lot of things going on so progress is slow but I am quit focused and organised. It helps when I get a little time to focus on it because I generally know what I need to do next.
I get it ..... haven't touched mine in a few months now. I does pay to be organized, especially when you can have some time go by between project elements.
I am not an upholstery person. I am doing what ever I can to get it ready for the upholstery shop trying to get everything from seat belts, roll bar, console, bubble etc finished so they have something to work from.
I started on a removable bubble to fit my configuration but finishing it is one of my next steps:
Looking fantastic Comp2. Really cool. Hey, don't forget to tape the hell out of the door edges and door jams to prevent chipping. Man..that thing looks tough!
Hey...btw...nice dog house. So, will the whole family climb in with the dog in the event of a tornado!
Man I so much want to take if for a drive!....but the battery is not strapped down yet, I have not finished the front engine cover, guess I will have to keep it confined to the front yard!
I still need to do the door internals and a few things before I have the interior done. I am going to leave the windshield out till they get the interior done so they have more access.
Thought there was a post about my seats. They are something aren't they. 1980's to go along with a shag van. They were the Hall seats. Interior is scheduled for May. Should be wrapped up with all the left over details by then. The windshield goes in afterwards.
Should be pretty much a complete car at that point.
