Another scam....
Hello,
I am glad to hear that you are interested about my car. The car is in
perfect conditions without any scratches, damages or other mechanical
problems. About the shipping taxes you don't have to worry because I will
pay for it. You will receive the TITLE, keys and owner's manual. I live in
Netherlands and I bought this car from United States so it has US emissions
and is still registered there.
I can`t find a buyer in my country so I want to sell it in US. I took care
of it like it was my own baby and now is in the same condition as it was
when I bought it - even better!
I want to take this opportunity to assure you that this deal is 100%
legitimate.
This deal will happen through EBAY.

So if you really want it please give me an email as soon as possible.

Thank you for your interest,
Daniel
These scams are epidemic on E-Bay. One thing I can say, E-Bay is better at removing them than they used to be. This one and the last couple mentioned on this board were removed within a few hours. In the past the same bogus auctions would appear for days.
I've been tempted to respond to some of these thieves, but I'm not particularly computer savy and do not know if I am risking information theft by contacting them. I'd be careful about responding to any offer that looks phony to you.
You'd think that with all the hundreds of millions of dollars E-Bay has, they would want to find and prosecute some of these bums. I've seen "other auctions" that indicate a couple of hundred fake items listed under one fake account. And the one I'm thinking of comes back again and again with a new fake name every time. A clown with this persistence should be traceable and bustable.
I'll bet they figure ignoring the problem is less damaging than the press they would get by prosecuting a bunch of these scammers. It would reveal the lie that any of these transactions is safe. A good reporter with inside information could really turn the screws on E-Bay for their "security" and the "protection" they offer.
They're big on telling you not to correspond on closed items with non-bidders (this costs them their commission if a sale is negotiated). Other than that, they couldn't care less about you or any loss generated on their site.

I think that the yellow one was removed but has reappeared.

They pray upon greed, that's the angle.

I'm waiting for someone to put $100 US currency up on Ebay. Maybe it will get interesting when no one will bid $10 for one because they can get another $100 bill for $5 on Buy it now?

The safest position to take is that if it is to good to be true, it probably is.
I take back the one nice thing I said about E-Bay...that they are getting better at removing bogus listings.
That yellow Pantera belongs to another Colorado owner. He was trying to sell it just a couple of days ago. The rip-off artist just hijacked his whole listing. Didn't even bother to look for one that was a few weeks old to reduce the chance of recognizing it. I e-mailed the real owner this morning to warn him.
The listing was there at 11AM and is still there at 6:30PM. Clearly I was too swift in my praise for E-Bays concern in removing these con-artists from their site.
What a joke.

I was curious to see who the bidders were and clicked on that feature.
Instead of the list of bidders coming up the email function to the seller came up.
These guys have fot some nasty hacking software.
I'm staying away from them.
Can someone else complane to Ebay this time please?
They must think my emails are some type of worm virus.
E-Bay is a Joke when it comes to scammers.
They could care less about who gets ripped off as long as their making the listing and comission fee's and the fee's of Pay Pal which is also owned by E-Bay.

Get burned and see what they put you through to get your money back. Not only is it a pain in the butt, it can take months.

I've been there and done that, it's easier to go through your bank and have the charges reversed for the fraud than deal with Fee Bay.
