Anyone crazy enough to use a gear drive timing system?

Nevermind. I just watched 4 youtube videos of gear driven cars and i know i would get annoyed after 20-30 minutes of driving.

I'm running a "quiet" gear drive. Unnoticeable if you don't know its there.

I'm using a quiet gear drive and it is music to my ears but only at idle. The exhaust takes over after that. Try it you will love it.

Either one of you guys have any videos of your cars up? Id like to get an idea of what ill be dealing with. Thanks

Which brand and style of gear drive are you using? Got a part number?

There is a noisy and a quiet version. Forget who makes which. Sig Erson cams was one of the companies I believe.
Sounds more like a centrifical supercharger then a mechanical fuel injection system though.
Why would you want to run one?
Actually here a timing chain would have greater durability and be less troublesome.
Those gears tend to loose chunks of teeth. They are usually machined out of cast iron rather then billet steel.
