Ok folks........ Its time for me to replace the original bumber......so......I'm looking for any suggestions on a nice direct fit. (Obviously I'd prefer something that bolts on, with mimimal work).

Not that I mind adjustments and such, but, I'm kinda expecting something to fit nicely these days.

(And if you feel that this could turn into a war-o-vendors, please just send me a pm or email directly).

THANKS MUCH.!!!!

Give some consideration to the Amerisport split front fiberglass bumpers. I put a set on about 6 months ago. Come ready to paint or you can go black if you like. Fit like a glove & didn't even take any trimming & can be easily installed from the outside front of the car with the headlights opened half way. Two "Thumbs Up" from me!

I'm in the same boat...what about FULL "73 replacements?
Amerisport also has a full fiberglass front bumper which is what I had on my car before going the split bumper route. It took a very minimal amount of trimming to fit like a glove & can also be easily installed from the front of the car with the headlights partially open. It got a two "Thumbs Up" also!

There are still a couple of NOS, early rubber front bumpers out there. I got one for 2511 after my off-road-adventure, it is easily a 99 point unit - cost was $1200.

Private message me if interested - I believe the seller may still have one left.

The Hall? fiberglass units are about 2" too narrow. I have no info on Kirk's full size one, if it shares the shortness of Hall's. Knowing Kirk's fiberglass skills, I would think he managed to make one with the proper dimensions, but....? Kirk's stubbies really do fit and look good, if that is the direction you go.
