Alright guys some of you have seen me lurking round your neighborhood for a couple months now and I have been purty much down in the for sale section. I am a bodyshop owner from Nebraska and am no stranger to restoration but am a stranger to the Pantera. This will be my first Pantera restoration. I currently have a freshly done 65 Shelby, and have been a Mustang guru for years and have always had a strange interest in the Pantera even though most of my Ford die hard Shelby pals call me crazy. I recently acquired a nice project and will be well underway with all the pantera b/s questions I can post. I am sure I will get great info from forum and will recipricate with as much knowledge as I can in return.....Good to be here,
-Tim Lindstrom

Welcome, Tim. You'll get a lot of good info from the guys on this BB! There are 3 Pantera owners here in N.E. Kansas within 50 miles of Topeka & several more in & around KC. Are you in Lincoln? Pretty soon we may have to consider starting a Midwest Chapter!
Welcome Tim! I look forward to regular updates and pics of what you're doing to the Pantera each week. Maybe even a few gratuitous Shelby/Mustang pics too, as I'm a big Mustang and Shelby fan myself. I have a 66 Mustang GT fastback. It's currently a GT350 clone, but I'm returning it to it's original glory, but with a few improvements.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard Tim.

I think it is cool that you are setting out to restore a Pantera, one less neglected Pantera rusting away, one more "king of the road" looking beautiful. I hope you plan to put that car on the street where it can be admired as you drive it. But if you decide to turn it into a show car, you still have the support of this entire community, the important thing is, you are restoring a Pantera.

That deserves a big thumbs up!

I appreciate all the comments. NO show car for me, I have been down that road and it is fun and all but I enjoy driving to much. I want to do a tastefully mild modified car but have the a/c working at capacity so I can drive this car and put some miles on. Here is a pic of the car now.
