On my 73 single Pod Dash I have 2 Lamps, one Amber and one Red. The Amber lids up when I pull the Parking Brake and supposedly if there is a discrepancy between the pressure on fwd vs rear lines sent from the OE shuttle Valve. The Red one should be the Brake wear warning. I was thinking to move the Wire from Brake wear over on the Amber Lamp so that all Brake related was on same Lamp and then use the Red Lamp as a "low Oil Pressure" Warning via a new pressure Switch on a Tee by the Pressure Sender. My question is if anyone has gone down that Road with success?

The idea is fine, I did something similar, though my indicator lamps are wired the other way round. On my car amber was the pad wear warning and red is the e-brake and shuttle warning.

My VDO fuel guage had no provision for the low fuel light, so I used the amber indicator for that and left the red lamp as the brake indicator.

For your pressure switch sender you could tap the port above the oil filter and avoid the tee.
Larryw that is a good idea. I have a 1,4 Bar Switch (19 Psi). That is a fairly high pressure for a warning Switch but should work for me in the right direction taking the possible pressure loss into account between Oil filter and were the OE Sender sits.

Honestly I never understood why some Cars don't provide a warning light for low Oil pressure. One reason why I moved my Oil pressure Gauge to the top of the center Panel. At least I only have to turn my right Eye to check it routinely. Eeker
