I haven't gotten an e-mail from the DeTomaso mailing list for days, just as I needed to post a question. The archives don't show any new messages since the 9th. Is it down for everyone else too?

Yes I just checked the archives doesn't seem to be activity for a few days. Seems odd not to see all those emails in my box on a daily basis

Agreed. I come here to post pictures and chit chat sometimes, but I can usually get a quicker response to any problems through the e-mail list. The e-mail list seems like it's been around for longer, so it has a larger group of people.
I've found the mailing list to be more technically oriented. I think you'll find more European interaction there also.

At least I always have something in my inbox when I get home. Kind of like when you get home and check your real mailbox and just get Albertsons ads. It's still better than when there's nothing. hehe

Under preferences for how to receive the E-mail list emails, you have three choices:
receive every email sent
receive a daily digest of the emails
receive NO emails at all
I and many others elect to receive the third, no emails, option. So then, you may ask, what is the point of joining?
Well, you must be a member to post and I do so by just adding the address to my book and pasting it in whenever I have a reply.
Secondly, the archives of the list are updated in just about real time, so I have bookmarked the archives and then can follow the posts through the archives. I cut and paste if I feel the need to reply to a specific post.
Bingo - posting priviledges, access to all the posts, no flooded inbox.
