Door Handle Spring?

The handle does not look broken and appears to have never been disassembled.
The "L" shaped end of the spring needs to hook
some where ?

Have a look at these pictures.
It looks like the plastic part of the handle mount is worn where the spring rubs against it.

The pics are exactly what I needed. I have new springs and buckets this shows me what I need in their install.

Need advice on removing the roll pin from the lock cylinder. Really afraid of tapping on it to hard and breaking the pot metal housing. I thought about drilling it out and going one size bigger. It seems the original is about 1/16" and going to a 3/32". Any thoughts here?

I have successfully tapped them out using a small nail or punch, supporting the housing well on a solid surface (on top of vice jaws open just enough to let the pin drop through).
