Well I guess third times a charm. Went back to the dyno again and amazingly nothing went wrong. Just to give a brief history. First time I had issues with the throttle cable as well as the ECU. The second time I had lots of coolant issues and a busted throttle shaft. This time other than one small issue with the datalogging on my PC everything worked flawlessly. I am quite happy with the numbers as we have done no timing work at all yet. I will give it a few more miles on the street to be sure no more bugs creep up then back to dyno session #4 for tuning.

Impressive numbers, that car must really pin you in the seat under acceleration. Are the numbers corrected or is that RWHP?

Julian
From what the dyno operator tells me they are uncorrected RWHP. And yes it does get a little exciting around 3500 RPM. You have to be ready for it. Its unlike anything I have ever driven/ridden in.

not sure I will be able to make Birch Bay this year......We had our second baby on June 3rd and I don't have much free time anymore.......

John

p.s. you need one of those "pull before flight" tags!
Congrats John! Yeah I find booster seats dont fit too well in the cat Wink. Well Im sure I will catch you around sooner or later. Dont worry about the free time. As you know it sort of comes back eventually.

Whoa Blaine! Those are some pretty sick numbers, dude. Is this really driveable on the street? Get someone to shoot some video and post it. We all need to see and hear that!
Nice! I remember years ago when you were still building and sorting things out. Watch out for the local gumshoe when you try it on the street.

Saving that for the next dyno session Wink. David, The car is perfectly driveable on street. With the turbos the car is very tame at lower rpm's. The fun doesnt begin till 3000 RPM. I will hopefully get some video this summer and post it up. Jan, the local gumshoe will be foremost in my mind while playing with the cat.

Wow! Great numbers Blaine! I really want to see them after you get it all timed and tuned in. Very Impressive!
