Hi! I have 72 Pantera which gave me no problems for the past 10 years until I ran into this electrical problem. Absolutely nothing happens. The battery is good, and both terminals are well connected, but no gauges come on, not a click from a starter, and brake light does not even come on... everything is completely dead. I have new battery and new starter solenoid. Could this be an ignition?? I would appreciate any clue you would be able to provide me. AJ

Yeah, I can see where that might be a bit of a problem! As RoBeRt says, you need to load test your battery, in lieu of that, try another known good battery. If still nothing I guess that I'd first disconnect the battery & start running continuity checks on both the power & grounds. Since it happened all at once you should be able to find the open pretty easily (ie. broken ground strap, severely corroded cables, etc.) Any thoughts, Boss Wrench? I'm sure there's an easier way to find your problem, the "Pantera Guru's" will come up with something to get you back on the road!
Electrical stuff is not my forte', but it seems from 1000 miles away that your battery is somehow not supplying voltage or the ignition switch is not allowing voltage to get past it. There are two ways to find such things- 1)- take the car to a specialist shop, preferably one experienced in the witchcraft involved with British-car wiring or Pantera repair, or 2)- get out your VOM & circuit diagram and start at the battery yourself to find out where the circuit is incomplete (which the shop will gladly do.... for $75 an hour) Even with my inexpert messing-about with my VOM, I managed to find a broken horn wire, a corroded wiper motor connection and a shorted connection on my headlight motor, over the last 22 years.
