I am confused. Every car I have ever seen uses a rocker switch for the fan speed. How are you using this switch?

I'm with Forest on this one. It appears that your car has a non-stock switch. Was it added by you or was this how you purchased the car?

Additionally, does your blower fan offer three different speeds? The stock blower was only two speeds, however many owners have replaced that motor with a three speed motor.

It's the rotary switch that was in my car when I bought it... It does appear to be a generic switch so you may disregard this entire thread...lol...

Yes, rotary temp above and three speed fan below... The fan does react w/three different speeds...

As an aside to this conversation. One can use an aftermarket DC motor speed controller to moderate the fan speed. If you were a clever bunny, you could re-purpose the instrument dimmer rheostat to function as the fan speed controller.

Or you can mount the rheostat that comes with the motor controller in the old fan switch bezel like this.
