I just finished a two year freshening on 03041 which I've owned from new.  It seems they keep monkeying with the "angle" of gas nozzles at the pumps here in MA and I'm having a helluva time getting these newer nozzles into my top located fuel filler.  I tried a length of Neoprene hose with the same ID as the nozzle OD.  It fit tightly but kept clicking off after squirting maybe an ounce of fuel into the tank.  Perhaps this has something to do with "vapor recovery" shutting down the pump.     A 5 gallon plastic gas can is too heavy and cumbersome to raise high enough ... as well as being dangerous and prone to spills right above the exhaust header.

At any rate, I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has found a SAFE and SURE way to fuel a Pre-L in the 21st Century with what passes for gasoline these days.

Many thanks,
