Can someone tell me the size of the gas tank drain plug? I think its 22mm but not sure if it has some pitch? \/ Thanks

According to this link the thread is 22mm with 1.5mm pitch. Press CTRL+F on that page and search for "22" and you will find it.
On mine its a 1/2" NPT thread ... I used a std plug to test the tank.

Confirming my '73 came with a 22mm 1.5 pitch.
Could 1/2" equal 22mm ??? I know in Europe they use American Pipe Sizes on larger steel pipe 1",2,3,4,6...etc. could it be the same.

They could be close. Or retapped by a previous owner. What are you trying to accomplish? Trying to suck from the bottom of the tank? IF so I know of a Parker Valve fitting that is a 90 degree that goes from the 22mm to a AN fitting. Could provide the Parker Part number if interested.

Thats it, a friend is going to try a bigger fuel line! Parker valve fitting?, that sounds like it may do the trick! The part number would be great! Also where would we find the part? Thanks
