Has anyone done an upgrade to the headlight motor? Mine is dead.
I have the two window motors I took out for the window upgrade.
I have searched but found no information on upgrading them.

Dead? As in taken out and bench tested, or just not working but still installed?
As in all things electrical, especially 30 year old Italian wiring, check and clean all connections, fuses and fuse connections, and for headlight motor, make sure power is switching properly through the up/down limit switches.
I am aware of no motor upgrades for the headlights - but the window motors are said to be the same as the headlight one.

I would proceed to:
check fuses
check light switch - do the lights come on inside the buckets? If so, then switch is good.
Then, clean motor contacts and then trouble shoot the limit switches.
I highly doubt the motor is fried.

If you're sure it's the motor. Take it out bench test it, if it runs slow or not at all, they're easy enough to rebuild, and they will interchange with the door lift motors.!
