Headliners were all the same off-white with a certain perforation pattern, from '71 thru 76 Tthe '87 I'm familiar with was identical to my '72 visually. Side trim & visors were covered with the same material. But after '74, DeTomaso offered 'custom builds' so I wouldn't be surprised to find a post-74 with a different headliner mat'l. I'd go to a shop on installing this- putting it in properly is a true pain (at least it was for me).

I did find some suitable black perforated headliner material and armed with Mike's article, I proceeded to replace what was left of the old headliner. In fact there was nothing left of the headliner except the foam which was covered with a very saggy piece of flannel. Mike wasn't kidding about the old foam being a pain. I did manage to scrape it all (mostly) off and using every limb I could muster, got the new liner in place with no wrinkles. The black looks good and is a great improvement over the flannel sagging on my head and the tiny foam remnants getting in my eyes while driving. Thanks Mike and Jack, you were right about the degree of difficulty. Anyone know where I can get a driver side sunvisor?
